What we collect and why
We collect your name, email address, company and, if you choose to provide it, your role. We also record when you registered and the version of the contact consent you gave.
We use these details to acknowledge your registration, assess interest in the pilot and contact you about taking part. Our basis for this use is your consent. Providing the details is voluntary; we need the required fields to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to a general marketing list or use automated decision-making to decide whether you can join.
Where the information goes
Registrations are stored in a separate Cloudflare D1 database, accessible through our Cloudflare account. Cloudflare processes the form and delivers acknowledgement emails. A notification containing your registration details is also sent to our Gmail inbox, provided by Google. Your details are not published or sold.
Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect the form from spam and processes technical browser and connection information. We use a short-lived, pseudonymous identifier derived from your IP address for rate limiting, rather than storing your raw IP address in the registration database.
Cloudflare and Google operate internationally, so information may be processed outside the UK under their applicable data-protection arrangements. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.
How long we keep it
Pilot registrations are kept for up to six months from submission, unless you withdraw consent earlier. We delete expired registrations from the database and remove the corresponding notification emails. If you join the pilot, we will explain any separate account-data arrangements before you take part. Rate-limit identifiers expire within 24 hours. Provider backups and operational logs follow their own retention arrangements.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw your interest at any time by replying to our acknowledgement email or contacting [email protected]. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before you withdrew consent.
You can ask to access, correct or erase your information, restrict its use or receive a portable copy where applicable. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
